Wire stamps are an effective way of repeating designs, shapes or marks
for creating texture and patterns or for print runs. In this workshop after
experimenting with several different stamps, you will design and make your
own wire stamp or stamps for using in a finished batik.

A fun day discovering the essence of batik - the resist process. After an
hour or so experimenting with the canting tool and colour overlaying, the rest
of the day will be devoted to making a two or three-stage seasonally-inspired batik.
